Emerald Downs in Auburn, WA is a thoroughbred horse racing venue offering a variety of seating options. The main grandstand provides covered seating with excellent views of the track and finish line. For a premium experience, the venue features six private suites and multiple group event spaces ideal for corporate gatherings and special occasions.
- Grandstand Seating: The main covered grandstand is the most popular option, offering great sightlines to the track. Lower grandstand seats near the finish line are the best sections for an optimal race-viewing experience.
- Club/Clubhouse Level: Enhanced seating with additional amenities, popular for special events and group outings.
- Private Suites: Six suites available for premium groups seeking a fully private and catered experience.
- General Admission/Lawn Areas: Standing room and open lawn areas provide a more casual experience but with less comfort and shade.
We recommend securing grandstand seats near the finish line for the best viewing. Sections at the far ends of the grandstand offer less ideal sightlines and are best avoided if possible.

Emerald Downs offers abundant and mostly free parking for all events, with over 3,000 spaces across multiple lots served by a complimentary tram system.
- Valet Parking: Available at the entry adjacent to the stadium. Best option for convenience. Paid service.
- Preferred Parking – Lot 1: South entrance. Paid, closer to the venue entrance.
- Preferred Parking – Lot 2: Between the stadium and main stable entrance. Paid, convenient access.
- Accessible Parking: Located north of the stadium, adjacent to the paddock. Free for eligible vehicles.
- General Parking: Over 3,000 free spaces in various lots north and west of the stables. Best value option.
- Horseman Parking: Stable area, for horsemen and officials only.
A 128-passenger tram and 2 shuttle buses serve all parking lots, with clearly marked stops along Emerald Downs Drive. Rideshare drop-off is available near the main entrance. We recommend general parking for most fans, as it is free and well-served by the tram system.
